Hey guys,

im actually posting for a friend.

He needs a cpu, a mobo, ram, and a psu.

He also says, he doesnt need a graphics card, cause he has his mx 32mb blah blah bullshit. I had to laugh there also, he does want to play on 'low end' games though.

If you could fit a FX5200 128mb or so in, it also would be much better than what he has at the moment.

One setback is that he has quite a low budget though - about $450.

If you could please, put a setup together, im sure he would really appreciate that, and I aswell.

1 thing he does ask, is a 939 socket, and obviously - AGP.

Thanks in advance anyway.

Does he need a case?
These prices are rough estimates from newegg.com

AMD 3000+ Venice core $146
Gigabyte Mobo $80
GigaRAM 512 PC3200 $40
eVga6600GT $160

$426

Hm. I really dont think you will be able to get even a decent S939 computer with that low of a budget. All decent parts will cost a bit more than that. Srry. Its just that that is a REALLY small budget. Try buying one that is made by a brand name manufacurer like Dell or Compaq. Granted, these may not be the best computers, but its your best chance with sucha small budget.

AMD 64 3000 venice = $146
DFI lanparty NF3 = ~ $100
2X 512 sticks of DDR ram = $80
6600gt = $144
Thermaltake PSU = $50

This comes to $520 and will be the best possible system you can get for the price. You can get a cheaper motherboard, but is not worth it, as there is a few other motherboard manufacturers but are about the same price.

Yeah, i know the price kinda sucks for a s939.

Ill try persuade him to put up his budget a lil, and thanks so far guys.
