computer freezing.

Since i reformatted my computer recently my computer seems to freeze a lot (not crash). Like when i open windows media player and select a song it freezes for a second then opens it and with some other programs i get this issue too.

Specs:
Athlon 3500+
2 x 512 OCZ premier series
250 GB SATA 2 w 16mb buffer WD
XFX 6800 GT pci-e

I think you should reformat it again, and see if it freeze again.

Sometimes that is a sign of a bad PSU. It could also be bad RAM. Don't worry about reformatting again. Run Memtest86 to see if your RAM is bad. If you get no errors there, take your PSU to a local computer shop and get it tested.

rofl. it doesn't have to do anything with power supply, when the computer turns off randomly, its based on psu. I can agree with the ram.

Put a big ****in ass fan next you open fan. If it don't crash, problem solved.
