83 dollars whoops that changes the price.

sorry i didnt see your wish list before hand

yuo could go with a pci express, but that would raise your price a lot, but it wuold help if you are going to upgrade your graphics card in the later future.

all the things you picked out are great, i would just recommend another psu. so your total price range would be around 700 dollars

cause the psu is the most overlooked pc part, every thinks it doesnt do anythig important, but it powers your whole system, you might need some aditional fans and a new heatsink if you plan on OCing,

i'm planning to go with pcx. It's only $20 or so more. A lot of those links weren't working for me.

Thanks. I think I'll go with this one. What would be good for OCing? I might change my mind, just for fun.

Here's my updated list:

Do I need sound card? And whats the difference between Windows XP Pro vs Home Ed.? I want to get Home Ed since its cheaper. I'm planning to also install Linux on this comp.

the value select isnt a good OCing ram, go with the pqi for 83 bucks origionally 103, ON SALE. i posted it above somewhere

Thanks a lot.

Umm that link you posted above for the RAM was a dupe of the link before for the case. Think you could give it to me again? Also, the power supply link was invalid.

I think you would be fine with Xp home....pro is for coorporate users and not really necessary for daily use.

I should quote more often
