i building my first computer and need a mobo. i don't play games and trying to keep it cheap. what is a decent one to get

asus, abit, msi (lan party), gigabyte (the new boards with 875p chipset) all have good boards..and not-so-good boards.

You need to read reviews (especially customer reviews), and then choose what is right for you....depending on whether you want raid, dual ddr, and other features
