I have a 512 stick of Centon PC2100 RAM in this old computer. I am getting a new build, and they have this exact kind of RAM on sale for $30 at CompUSA. Now, I really don't want to spend $80 on Corsair ValueSelect when I can spend $30 and switch over my current 512, thus totaling 1GB. Should I go for the Corsair PC3200 or stick with 1GB or PC2100?

are you doing a lot of top end gaming? I might just stick with the PC2100 instead. You'll have 2 times the memory, and over half the speed. In some cases, quantity is more than how fast it's going.

I suggest getting the one stick of 3200. Eventually you can get another stick of the exact same stuff. There will be a big boost in performance between the 3200 and 2100.
