Calzinger, you obvoiusly do not know about k8s much. Processors can easily overclock well. You do not need good ram. The motherboard just has to support a ram divider. Here is an example of a 105 dollar processor combined with a 73 dollar motherboard that will overclock to 2500MHZ using the ram divider.

You do not need dedicated cooling. You just need a motherboard that supports overclocking, and there are many out there. You need a processor that is capable of reaching those speeds. The AMD k8s are good examples. Even the cheap ones are good ocers. This is all you need. Even the stock heatsink fan is good enough. You defenetly need to read more articles out there cal. I think people have brainwashed you into thinking that you need the top of the line products to even have a half decent overclock.
