Asetek finally ships fancy VapoChill Micro coolers

ASETEK HAS finally managed to get its Vapochill Micro coolers to the market. You can check out our original preview here

It turns out that the cooler has just shipped to distributors and resellers and the company has three difference versions of the coolers. The cheapest VapoChill Micro high end model ended up at €28, one €uro more expensive than the company originally suggested. At this price it will handle 150W from the core and will come as Socket 478 version, Socket 775 version and one version for AMD 754, 939 and 940 CPUs. Noise on this cooler should be variable but low.

The second extreme performance cooler is called VapoChill Micro Extreme Edition and will have three versions for all sockets mentioned above and will be able to cope with 150W. it should cost €34.25 as its going to have fan regulation and should be pretty quiet.

Third in the line is VapoChill Micro Ultra Low Noise, with similar specs to the coolers above, costs €43 but with ultra low noise and fan regulation.

You should be able to build all of those coolers without additional tools and all will weigh 355 grams including fans. We expect to see and feel the final retail versions soon and they should be in the shops any day now, if not already. All prices exclude VAT.
