Which intel desktop board should I buy?

i have two options,
Intel® Desktop Board D865GBF Socket : mPGA478 and,
Intel® Desktop Board D915GAV Socket: LGA 775

I tried by comparing both boards in intel website but could not get which one is better. What is this PCI Express supported by D915GAV ? is there AGP slot in D915GAV ? Do i need AGP slot if i own this board? What other benefits i can get with D915 GAV in comparision to D867GBF.

and one thing D915 GAV board have only 4 PCI slots. is this sufficient ?

One board is socket 478 and the other is LGA775. What chip are you looking to buy?

i was planning to get a LGA775 but yeah it just depends on what other componants you plan to/have bought. if you buy 775 then make sure that it is LGA, GA is 20 pin as opposed to 24 and you will require a 20-24 pin converter

I have the Intel® Desktop Board D915GAV Socket: LGA 775. It has PCI Express, which is newer and better than AGP.
