No performance out of my xp-90 heatsink?

Damn, its not good to cover the whole base with that stuff? The stuff didnt come with instructions and I had no internet so I just had to wing it. Oh well, hopefully this stuff will come off without ruining anything

Just use some isopropyl alcohol and it should come off no problem,Unfortunately you might have to re-apply the paste a couple off time's untill you get it right

35-38c isnt bad idle i would put it past ya and forget about it now throught some paste on there ul be good to go next step i guess is water cooling but thats up to u

use arctic silver not the stock stuff also it really should cover the whole thing not overlap and not cover one side. it sounds like somtin that would effect ur temps

You need a fan with your heatsink in order to function more effectively. The fan will obviously pull the heat off of the heatsink.
