I just recently added a thermaltake volcano 12 due to overheating problems. when i first started up my computer i would get windows welcome screen and then it would freeze. i tried safe mode and the other modes none worked. So i thought maybe it was the power. I unplugged my dvd/cd burner, dvd drive, and one case fan. It booted up and took me into windows that i had installed on my second hard drive from back in the day. I realized my master hard drive was not being found. then i unplugged another case fan and finally i got it to work. since then all seems to be working fine. so my question is how large of a psu do i need for my system if that is even the problem. here are my specs:

asus a7v333 mb
amd athlon xp 2100+
1 stick 512ddr
1 stick 256 ddr
40 gig hd
120 gig hd
dvd/cd burner
dvd drive
audigy 2 sound card w/ front bay drive
nvidia gforce4 mx 420
currently 4 case fans and two unplugged(had so many to deal with heat problems)
thermaltake volcano 12 cpu fan
350w enermax whisper psu
