I will take the other 39 cents than :)

You got yourself a nice PC now, you can easily throw in the newest and latest graphics card, for now and the future (7800GTX / ATI X900XTPE). But your current card handles those games with ease.

You can throw in a dual core 4800+ into that motherboard if you want to in the future, and even faster CPU's.

If you want to run two graphics card's, you can do the SLI mod to the motherboard and it will work (Slightly risky)

When you learn a bit more, and get a better heatsink and fan, you can overclock the crap outta that PC as well.

What did you do for the case and the hard drive, and what of the two card's did you choose?

20pin PSU on a 24pin mobo? :\

it'll definitely work...but dunno about overclocking though, but i doubt he'll OC

CASE- Go to your local shop and buy one. NOT WORTH THE SHIPPING CHARGES TO GET IT OFFLINE.

Also, its slightly off budget. The case I doubt will cost you 15 dollars. Your more than likely looking at a 25 dollar case, so you'll be down 10 dollars or so.

Its different because the 1.8 GHZ is combined with an increased hypertransport speed and also dual channel memory giving the 1.8GHZ 3000+ the same performance as a 754 3000+. Also, I wouldn't go all newegg. THey sure don't always have the cheapest prices. And, if you take the hard drive out of the equation, then you will defenetly be within budget.
