the venice 3200 939 amd 64 for 130 pounds
or the
winchester 3000 for 110 pounds

whats dif between 2 i know they are the same speed etc any other diferneces

Hypertransport is not new to the Venice core, but regardless, it is the better core. Definately the 3200 venice.

If you can swing it, I would go for a Nf4 board such as this:

The San Diego and Venice cores are the new ones. The San Diego is the same as the Venice but with 1mb cache. Stick to one of those. The Newcastle and Winchester are the older cores.
