I've heard less-than-nice things about ASUS. Their boards aren't that great, and their RMA service sucks (there's a post in Off Topic about it).

If I HAD to pick one of the two, I'd say the MSI.

Asus is the world leader in mobo's. And they make the best mobo's. However, the A8V deluxer just sucks.

Hey man, if your searchin for a new mobo, and you are going to drop that money on the MSI, don't it won't be worth your while. Just get the DFI Ultra-D.

Asus pwnz at Intel mobos, but they suck at AMD.

the MSI is far better.

However, the DFI Lanparty nForce4 Ultra-D is better than both of them
