Hi;
I live in new york and want to buy a notebook.can you people tell me which one is good( i dont want fancy features, i want a simple one at low rates)and also which one has service centre in new york.

Toshiba. Or Apple.

Apple should have service centers in NY, as you could take it to an Apple store and have it worked on. As for Toshiba, I don't know.

But, Toshibas are cheaper, and from what I hear, are the best x86 laptops for a less that huge budget.
