Computer resets my prefs in some programs

Every time I turn my computer on and go into Winamp it always starts with Winamp Classic, and it displays the Winamp icon in the Taskbar instead of the System tray like I always set it to. It is not that big of a deal, but it gets kinda annoying having to go into the preferences every time and set it back to where I had it. Winamp works perfectly for everyone else I know, so I am pretty sure the problem is just on my computer. Any suggestions?

if you are not a system admistrator and you have your account set to "limited" account, sometimes settings may not save when you exit a program. Also, your winamp may be an old version that is not supported by your O.S.

1. Change account type
2. Download latest winamp, or use windows media player.
