amd turion
512 ram
x700 mobility
40 gig hd (a little small but dont need alot thats what my desktops for)
theres all the main things
all for the convienient price of $1,235.00

did i do a good job @.@?

id rather gouge my eyes out then buy a dell the only dell i would ever consider buying would be the xps and thats if i was desperate (REALLY DESPERATE)

Ummmmmmm I think your underestimating dell's quality. You obiviously don't care about price/performance as the thing I suggested will be able to play doom3 at full resolution some AA, while the x700 will not.

I've owned two (at the time) tip-top of the line Dell laptops and they are of superb quality.

My original was a Inspiron 8100 P3 1ghz, 512mb ram, 32mb Gf 2go and CD burner. That thing has lasted me for a long time and I still use it to haul around and check switch ports and stuff. Its been dropped and all sorts of stuff and still works. It even ran games pretty well for its time, used to LAN on it with HL and Wolfenstein.

My current is an Inspiron 9100 w/ the WUXGA screen and P4 3.2ghz, 512mb ram, 80gb, Radeon 9700 mobile, dvd burner, etc. It also is a top quality laptop that I have gamed on quite a bit.
