I also have a DVD-ROM drive. It's my first time building a PC, I thought I did everything, I've been reading the manuals over and over trying to get it to work for hours :( PLZ HELP!

make sure all connections are good.... also.. i had this problem... sor some odd reason... it decided to read the montitor from an PCI vid card... when i dont have one.. so.. unplug anything u have in ur PCI slots and plug ur monitor into ur mobo... and see what happens..

make sure you reseat your memory and gfx card.. And also, did you plug in the 12volt power connector to the mobo? Im not talking about the big cable that has like 24 wires in it. Im talking about a little 4 pin square connector. It powers the cpu. And if you did, try powering it up without memory in it, you should get a beep code, then you will at least know your mobo and cpu is workin

I forgot to say that it was beeping but I got it to work, I played around with the memory and for some wierd reason my it only works would work when I put the memory into slots 2 and 4...

chaintech isn't that great of manufacturer, be it video cards or motherboards IMO
