some buttons on tv tuner remote stopped working

After I finished recording something, the volume up and 1,2, and 3 buttons on the remote don't work.

I have the Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP Expert.

I have tried reinstalling the software which didn't work.

I even went to the device manager and uninstalled the drivers. However, when I reboot, the device is found and the drivers are reinstalled, appearing again in the device manager.

I know the remote works because it worked perfectly before. I didnt' drop it or anything so I can only assume it's on the computer side.

I just want to completely remove any trace of driver/software so that the computer sees it as it saw it for the very first time.

i would say go into add/remove programs first then uninstall it,then go to my computer>local disk>program files then delete any other drivers files in the folder for the tuner...then reinstall....hope this helps

Thanks for the reply.

Hoorah though, completely at random, it began working again. I have no clue as to why, but in the middle of using it, all the buttons began working again. Hopefully it won't bug out again.
