Probs with the comp frezzing

ok this is really annoing... i turn on my comp wait about 10 mins and it frezzes and i did nothing diff from befor it just started doing it and no spyware no virus no nothing ... maybe hardware probs ... any help is appreciated

Check your event logs to see whats going on before it froze.

Start, run, msconfig, startup, disable everything except AV and FW, reboot. Did you notice a difference?

Is it always 10 min? If it is, then I would go into task manager and make sure your processor usage isn't through the roof. If it is, then you might be overheating.

ok i did do the ms config thing and now im having to re activate windows ty .... not oh well ill get it

open your case and after it freezes touch the heatsinc, if it;s to hot to keep your fingers on then you may need better cooling. Same thing with you videocard.

IT sounds like a overheating problem. That or your power supply might be going. But i would check on the heat issue first. Maybe your fan (case or processor) died and that is why you are getting a overheating issue.
