What's Goin On!?

I just built a new PC and when I press the power button, the PC turns of for about 6 seconds then turns off. Nothing is displayed on the screen, but you can hear the HD starting up. My system specs are:

Abit Kv8 PRO-3rd Eye
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
XGI Volari V8
Thermaltake SilentPurepower 480W
Lite-On DVD/CD drive
NEC DVD/RW drive

Do you hear the fans turning? (all of them : cpu, psu and maybe case)

If not, it might be that the computer is heating up...

The CPU, PSU, and all case fans turn. Case light light up too and the fan lights.
