Which hard drive setup would be better:

Seagate Barracuda 200GB 7200 RPM

x2 Seagate Barracuda 80GB 7200 RPM in RAID0

Are the two 80GB's in raid0 worth the extra money?

note: I'm only really concerned with gaming performance.

You won't notice much of a difference in gaming...Your HDD will be able to find the programs slightly faster, but probably not enough for you to notice. IMO, get the 200GB.

HDD won't do anything in gaming.. Ram and your processor will do everything ok.

The 200GB HDD will cost you less than 2* 80GB HDD which evidently have less space available.

If you click the links in my first post you'll see that the two 80GB are more expensive. How do you get more space from two 80GB vs. one 200GB?

I think you misunderstood... or then I didn't explain myself clearly

I meant that the 2 80GB will cost more and that the 200 GB HDD will provide more storage space...
