mobo grounds?

Hey, I've been seeing a few mobo questions about grounds around here, and if Im gonna be getting a career in anything computer related I should probably know wat its all about...I've never really heard of them before can someone gimme some info plZ?

When the motherboard is touching the case where it shouldn't be, it is grounded. And will not turn on/randomly turn off when it is touching the case. All you need to do is find where it is touching, and lift it away/oput something non-conductive there.
