Didn't give us enough Info Joe...LOL.. I use the ASUS & It works great. Also I like the ASUS Bios Update Tool Which works pretty Cool.

yup! I only had bought asus and CPU combo. Making sure all my hardware is comparable. I had reliable service so far!

If that ASUS motherboard is not very reliable and giving you severe issues, then you may consider getting some tech support. Otherwise, if it's a hardware related issue, you may have to go through the experiment of trial-and-error (e.g. taking out interface cards, determining shorts, etc.).

But if the nForce2 IGP chipset isn't working out for you, the only other thing I can recommend if you already have a discrete graphics card is the A7N8X Deluxe, but you'll only gain a couple new features from the switch.

If it's a severe hardware issue, then RMA it if possible.

ive been working on trying to get my msi 875p neo fis2r mobo working for about 3 months now, for some reason it will only recognize 1 hard drive at a time, so i figure, well, ill just install the OS with 1 HDD in and ass the other one later, i go to install the OS and what happens? it freezes while loading drivers.cab almost every time, i dont think its the CD, becuz ive tried 3 different CDs from 2 different people, its a real pain in the ass, so im just going to wait and build a 2nd PC instead of upgrading my old one, sigh and i was really looking forward to that 2.8GHz processor and 2GB of ram...
