Sound Card Question

Hey all, I am currently looking at some sound cards for gaming, and I was most interested in these two:
Audigy 2 Value
Audigy 2 ZS
I'm just wondering, for those of you who know about sound cards, could you tell me if the Audigy ZS would be worth the extra $20 or should I just get the value card?

ZS is better, and if you can afford it, get the gamer edition because it is the same as the ZS but it comes with a sh*tload of games.

How do soundcards help in gaming? I'm just curious, I'm not poking fun. I really dunno. I just have the old stock whatever came with me compaq.

The creative sound card supports EAX 4.0 Advanced HD, which when enabled, makes the sounds "echo", and sound like they really would in the current enviornment. It's really hard to explain, have a look here:
