well when idle i can't hear it, but at load i'm guessing it might or might not make a LITTLE sound...i mean the card is at load only when you play games and i always have my headphones on so i don't really hear anything

Humbucker - DUDE! Don't be scared! Buying a 6600GT is a smart move that i'm sure you'll be happy with. Relax about those 18 pages of problems i'm almost positve they are all the problems that "Could" happen, not "will" happen.
