I was wondering if you can piss off the tracker companies that place cookies on your comp by open them up and add and deleting at random. Any bad things/good things come from this and do you have to leave some data in the cookie to make this worthwhile so another cookie isnt dl and placed in its place?

Thanks

hmmm.. for windows, there is an application called ad killer which claims to block all advertisment cookies. i've never used this so i cant say how effective it really is. zonealarm pro also has an ad cookie control feature.

no you guys are missing his point. he want to get revenge or at least have a bit of fun with it. PyRo i don't think you should not delete anything, just modify their data a bit.

there is an order to what is on a cookie file i would think. so say a certain number in a cookie file represents that you selected 'australia as your preferred country'.

lol thanks for getting my point ekÆsine. sweet then ill have a little fun ;D

I read the title to this post and I was all excited to find out what "cookie fiddling" was all about. Had to check in and see.
