Well, first off id like to thank DJ-Chris and Nubius for helping me the most here, but everyone contributed to an extroadinary amount in helping me with my weird, noobish computer problems. I have been helped more then i actually helped, and i regret it undoubtly but now i would like to request u guys hopefully a final request and then after i can start to help people more =]. Last year on christmas, I bought a computer that i thought would be oh so good, a typical first time, thinking the memory size in a video card means the world, thinkng that anything AMD is good, thinking that memory speed doesn matter, socket number? for wrenches? LOL. Now is the time, i am getting payed 10 grand for a real estate sale, well its like i find a house for my aunt and she pays me, so the point is, i have up to the max 3 grand to spend and my request is, i need a computer that will rock my socks, rock my fps, rock my games, and rock antyhing that needs to be rocked. Be creative, please, a list is very gratified. Keep in mind after i buy this comp, i wish to be "in" with technology. meaning socket 939 and duel channel xD anything that wont have me to buy anything for a wile. Please, help me now Tech Gods *bows*

Just buy a dell XPS and forget about building your own!

No, rip off. If anything buy an Alienware (also overpriced).

I suggest going here and doing this, for it may be a tab bit more than building your own, but since you have so much money to spend on a comp, just do this, its easier.

I asuming you want this computer for gaming.

OK this is what I would get on a $3000 budget

You said you wanted dual core so this is the best dual core there is

MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra $130
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813130484

There also a SLI version of this board but personally I think SLI is unneeded and overrated

You could hold out till august to see what Radeon will put on the table but right now this is the best video card for gaming you can get.

artic silver 5 $6
good cpu fan $15

A 92mm vantec tornado works great with xp90C but very noisy.

TOTAL: $2606

Oh you wanna build it. Ibuypower.com is pretty good, not to expensive either. I just build a super nice comp (4200+, 7800xt PCI-E, etc) for about $2000, give or take (you can take away the sound stuff, etc for cheaper).

thank u for that fast response =D but i got some questions..

There also a SLI version of this board but personally I think SLI is unneeded and overrated

and could i get a 600 watt power supply?

Honestly, in my opinion, 2gb of ram isnt needed in gaming yet. 1.5 and 1 is just fine. But you do have tons of $$$ to spend on it....
