good site for checking download speeds?

Does anyone know a good site to check the connection, download speeds, and upload speeds of anyone who goes there, no matter what the connection (56k, cable, dsl, etc) for free? My friend told me one, i think it was dslreports.com, but that has a daily maximum for requests (and i usually arrive afte it has been reached). does anyone know a site which handles unlimited daily requests? thanx
