Hi

I was wondering, how come when i monitor my PC temperatures within Everest i get some nice results... It says the CPU is idleing at 26*C. Probably because its a cold night. Usually its around 34 on a normal day, which is also fine...

Anyway, how come when i view the tempereature within the BIOS, it starts out at about 34, then will keep rising till about 48????

Which should i trust?

The sensor the BIOS uses might be on the processor itself therefore would be hotter. I would trust the BIOS personally but it's up to you...

When you're in the BIOS it's not always idling. It may be under a small load. I have the same thing happen to me.

I trust Speedfan because if I go into the BIOS and check my CPU temperature, it will rise and not come down. if i use speedfan, the CPU isn't under much load so my temperature would may only be off by a degree or two.
