Your first graphic card?

3dfx voodoo 5500 the last in the voodoo line before nvidia bought them out.

the last of the voodoo line was a voodoo5 6000. i dont remmeber if i posted in here yet but my first card was a trident 1mb 256 colors w/ a voodoo1. after that was a SIS6326 24bit card w/ a voodoo2 then a voodoo3 3000 then a voodoo4 4500 PCI then a voodoo5 5500 then a Geforce2 ultra 64mb then a Gefroce3 TI 500 now to my GeforceFX 5600ultra.

First VGA card? a Trident vge card. It came with 80286 12MHz machine. Can't remember the size of VGA RAM but definitely something pathetic.

OMG I think I have that card too, in my 386. It is ISA.

And that was my first non-integrated GFX card...

64mb ti4200 on a dell 8200. it was top of the line when i bought it a few years ago.

There were very few choices at the time. The option I had was either a Hercules or a Trident. Voodoo came much later and yes, I bought the Voodoo when it became available also. Very similar.

voodoo 2 but that doesn't really count because it was a family machine, the first one I got with my own cash was a Ati 9800 pro
