What was your method (step bys step) of formatting your HDD?
I would guess that somehow the D: lost its partition else, lst its filing system.
If your method was using FDISK, go back there and make sure that the 2nd HDD infact has a partition or that it is either formatted in FAT32 or NTFS
It does. It cannot show in Windows (Disk Management) otherwise
