WSP2 Preventing Rebooting

Hey all. I have a problem with Windows Service Park 2. It's preventing rebooting. I'm trying to uninstall it but I only have DOS (Command Prompt) and Task Manager in Safemode. I want to uninstall it and reinstall it because when I finally got the comp up into safemode, I killed 3 viruses. I've tried all the support suggestions that Windows's support page offers. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875350 and no cigar. Could anyone please attempt to help? Thanks in advance.

Your best options I beleive is to reformat. You will more than likely have problems throughout Windows and you wont be satisfied. Removing SP2 is a big no no to me. to many problems can occur.

i concur, ur asking for a bigger headache down the road then u already have by trying to remove it. format and install sp2 freshly and u should b free of problems
