A friend and I are building a computer for the first time. We have decided on many of the parts for it and are as follows:

ASUS P5GD1 Socket T (LGA 775) MB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131503

3.2 GHz P4 540 (Land Package) CPU

2 Seagate Barracuda 7200 SATA Hds in a raid 1 config http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148039

Pair of Corsair Value select 512 MB DDR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145440

We are now needing some help finding a video and audio card that are good for DVD, Music and light gaming. We will be hooking this up to a big screen with HDTV. We don't need the over the top but don't want crapy either and keeping it in a low as possible price range.

Any thoughts on our set up?? The only part we have purchased is the CPU other than that we can still make changes.

Any help or suggestions would be Great!!!! Thanks in advance for your help!!!

idiot, if ur wanting to game do NOT buy pentium processors, buy a motherboard with nvidia 4 chipset and 7.1 sound and but a 6600gt graphics card

With the comment U just made I can see why you are a junior techie. The name calling really shows YOUR intelligence.
Have a nice day :D
