XP Can't find new Sata Drive

Hi

I'm running XP PRO SP2 and I just bought a WD 320 GB Sata harddrive, I have it connected to the "SATA_RAID1" port on my "P4P800-E Deluxe" ASUS mother board but windows can't find it.


After I turn on my machine on the black screen it ask me to push "CTRL + F" because it found the new sata drive and then I went to this bio looking screen and I press 1 or whatever it was and I say save and exit, not idea what that was for


any ideas how to get XP to see the drive?

did you format it? can you see it in disk/device management?

The thing was that I had it plug into the SATA RAID1 rather than on the normal SATA1 on the mother board

now everything is working just like a IDE
