Hi everyone
I work with computers all day and iinstall winxp like 10 times a day.
I need to make my own service pack to make my job a little easier cause there is many critical updates to install after service pack 2
I try slipstream on my windows cd but never work.
If the integration of all critical updates in a package is posible i like to now how to do that.
Thaks a lot for any help

try nLite, google it and you can download it free, you can remove stuff from your windows cd, add drivers and such and also it will remake the bootable iso.

Damn, That's a good idea. Making your own service pack, never would have thought of it. It's good in ways because SP2 causes all sorts of crap.

Yes it does like fixing your system and makes it free of errors man who would ever put security fixes in a service pack ^_^.

Heyyo,

Lol, tyler... you've obviously not heard the stories. You see, sp2 acts as somekindof uber system control. Lots of programs fail to work after SP2, even some M$ products!

Just start reading man, I say sp2 causes more damage than it fixes.

These guys also did a great job on updating 2000
XP & 2003. Here's the link to the forums and the
June 2005 APs for the above OSs if interested.

And yes, I have updated XP and 2K with their Nov 04
& June 05 patches on atleats 10 machines with ZERO
problems-AutoPatcher Is Excellent!!!

Just pay attention to the steps. Update to IE6w/sp1 first
with no other updates, and reboot. For many of the new
MS OS updates IE6w/SP1 needs to be installed first.

Well I couldn't argue no more about SP2, I didn't even get it yet, and I don't think I will. I'll stick with the basic updates.
