Do you guys know of any good quality RAID controllers? i'm thinking about setting up RAID 0. any suggestions??

Check to see if your board already has SATA RAID support.

But if you are strictly looking for a card i would get this one.

do i need a raid controller if i have the DFI Lanparty mobo?

It looks like most DFI lanparty boards support SATA RAID, but exactly which one do you have so I can check and be 100% sure.

Yep, that board has RAID controllers for IDE and SATA devices, almost all boards built within the last year should have onboard RAID devices (except for SCSI).
