Connecting my 6800GT to a TV - BLACK AND WHITE!?

I have searched and searched and tinkered with every possible setting; I just can't get this damn 6800GT to output in color over my S-video cable.

The thing is, I hook it up to the TV from my laptop which has a Radeon 9000 IGP and it works perfectly fine.

What the hell am I doing wrong? Here's my setup:

6800GT -> Pioneer VSX-D914-K -> Sony Trinitron Vega

All using S-video cables.

I have also tried it 6800GT -> TV

I'm stumped. The settings are correct for NTSC... what am I doing wrong?

Well turns out it was a bad cable. This is my second one!

Looks like I'll be buying another one, but this time not for $3.99 off eBay. RadioShack Gold Series it is... good old employee discount.
