Besdies the obvious 2.6 to 2.4... and also the fx55 is $300 more ..

is the fx55 really worth the extra money ??

but i heard that on the 4000+ its nothing to oc that to 2.6 on air and it can go beyond that aswell. And the san diego is 90nm so thats good oc for both cards

the fx-55 is by far superior, the thing is it probably wont make that much difference for whatever your purposes are because the 4000+ is one hell of a processor as well and if your playing games you cant get much better than perfect. if you want the fx-55 get it just so you can say i got an fx-55. not to mention it will save you upgrading for quite a while.

Thats because with the 4000+ you need to raise the FSB, not the multiplier because it is locked.

Where as with the FX-55 you are completely free to do whatever you wish.

in gaming, it wont make any difference. to be honest, it would be tough to tell the difference between a 3200 and an FX 55 in games.

Especially if your playing on high resolutions with eye candy on.
