I just recently assembled a new PC, here are the stats
PG5D2 ASUS motherboard
P4 3.0GHZ with hyperthreading
DDR2 4200 533mhz 2x512mb RAM
ASUS ALL IN WONDER x600 PRO 256
On board sound
On board ethernet
SONY DVD/W
SONY DVD
Floppy Drive
After I installed the RAID drivers and finally got windows completely setup, I restarted the PC. I did not install any new drivers or software when i was in windows. Now it can no longer reboot and gives me this error:
Windows could not start because the following files are missing or corrupt:
\windows\system32\config\system
Well, I tried recovery/repair console resulting in the same blue screen everytime, with the following error"
0x000000A
I get the same error when i try to reinstall windows XP, right after i accept the liscence agreement.
I've already tried disconnecting several devices, except the graphics card. I've also disable most of the bios options in different combinations, with no success. This is starting to get very frustrating.
I also flashed the BIOS to the newest firmware from the ASUS website.
Any ideas? thanks
