looking to buy a video card need help?

hello i am looking to buy a mid range card roughly $90-$110 with 256mb memory and a core clock speed of 400mhz or more. NEEDS TO BE 4x-8x AGP. i was looking to get a fx 5700 but it isnt 256mb

any suggestions would be great

The memory doesn't matter. And core clock speed doesn't matter either - well it does, but it is a combination of multiple things.

The only way to see if a GPU is any good is benchtests.

9600xt? And another 256mb of ram.

If you want to save some money, and want a good card then look into the geforce 6 series, might be a little over your price range but you will be disapointed with anything lower... and as for the memory.. 128 is plenty for most game.
