First a smal storie...
Ill had an abit kv7.
With s-ata isues. had to send it to the dealer.
Thei found some error with the s-ata part of the mobo.
And the waranty covered it. Thei wrote that thei are sending a asus A7V880 coz the abit was not in stock. Thei also claimed that this was a better mobo.
But wheni recived the pack. it did not contained a mobo. But a WD raptor s-ata 74.GB hdd.
A hdd i want
and costs more than twice the price of a mobo.
So ill keep my mouth shut. And keeps the hdd.
So to my Q.
Shud i buy a asus A7V880 or is it other mobo's more fit ?
I have a amd xp 3200 400 cpu.
2X1024 ddr ram. pc3200
And know a 34gb raptor and a 74 gb raptor.
gona laiter add a 320 gb hdd. (cane i use bought s-ata and ata or those the ata2 gets disabeled when i enabel the s-ata. )
usb 2 and sound shud be on the mobo. lan ofc. and perhaps firewire. (not imp. coz firewire cards are cheap)
whats the best mobo.. Asus? Abit? others?
