okay got a AMD 64 bit 3000+ and a MSI 6600GT...

I recently added a Zalman heatsink/fan on my CPU with a 80mm fan and it works great...dont have anything on my 6600GT though.

The questions I have are as follows:

- Is there any way to overclock the 3000+ past 2000 MhZ or 223 MhZ (Internal) without damaging the CPU

- How exactly do you overclock a video card? Do you need a VGA heatsink?

- What speeds do you set, without damaging the card or GPU, for the 2D and 3D Core Clock and the Memory Clock under the MSI Clock utility, or should I just use the D.O.T? Private / Sergeant / Captain ETC...

Any help would be appreciated

check the sticky notes at the top of this forums page. There are some good write ups on overclocking the amd 64 processor and videos cards as well

oc a gfx card, use software. No nothing is really required. You can use a pci exhaust fan though. if you really wnat arctic cooling sells gfx card coolers.

Set whatever as long as theres no artifacting, go in 5-10 mhz increments.
