Floppy and RAID Controller Needed?

A) Do i need a floppy to install my OS?
B) Do i need a RAID controller for RAID to work? Raid 0.

1) Windows XP? No.

2) If you want to use hardware RAID, then yes, you need a RAID controller. If you are going to set up RAID in Windows (Software RAID), then you dont need a RAID controller.
