Hi, i would like to noe how can i check my cpu's temp to see if it's overheated and how can i solve the problem without buying a new fan... becoz i've been having a problem wif my com as it always flashes the blue screen IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL halfway thru my use even after i've bought a new harddisk.. so hope someone can help me... Thanz in advance..

Download speedfan, max your fans and your might be able to cool it.
Sorry about the lang.. i'm not really good in english but as i've mentioned, i've bought a new harddisk and installed it with windows xp but my computer will hang halfway when i use it for a long period of time, e.g half a day... so i was thinking whether there are anyway to solve the problem because i've read it maybe the cpu which is causing the problem... is this post ok??

I have the same CPU. I took the control of the fan out of the bios hands (speedfan), replaced the fan with one of the cheapest on the marked (Arctic cooling's freezer 7), and reduced the cpu temp by 10c-15c.
