Im getting a 3200+ 754 soon w/ an NF3 DFI lanparty, those things any good? BTW i dont plan on using dual channel memory either cause its not important to me.

get 939 its basically the same cost and way better as it has pci-e and duel channel

like i said i dont really care about dual channel and i have to get a cheap mobo/cpu combo from a local dealer. thats why i said 754 cause the cheapest mobo/cpu combo they have is 649$ for a DFI NF4-d SLI mobo and a 4000+ san-diego.

Well if you want a cheap combo then get s754, but if you want something real go s939.

do you care about AGP or PCI-Express? Socket 754 only does AGP. if you go the 754 route, go with a Clawhammer 3200+ or 3400+. they have 1MB of cache and are reasonably inexpensive. Thats what i went with and couldn't be happier
