I done an experiment with 3 possible cases:
I-Inserted PC100 in Slot#1 with PC133 in Slot#0,it read 126 MB.
II-Inserted PC100 only in Slot#0,it read only 64 MB and System was
excessively Slow but working. Why PC100,128 MB reading only 64MB?
III-Restore Status-I to get reasonable Speed andmemory,

I did not touch connectors fearing ESD from my body may damage
module. How can I clean it?Can I clean it by Alcohol?

Need your kind comments/views,suggestions.

Note:
Valuram Memory finder shows:Virtually any configuration up to 1GB can be reached using any combination of Kingston's 64, 128, 256, and 512MB modules.
But,My plan was to utilize spare PC100-128MB AZEN RAM.
Need your views, why it failed to recognize?

Run memtest with both sticks installed. The 133 should run at 100 and it should read 256 physical with both sticks installed. The fact that the pc100 runs slow and only shows 64 mb suggests that the pc100 is toast. Run memtest.

I inserted 128 MB,168 Pin,PC100-222-620 (AZEN RAM)in slot1(taken out from
another computer) alongside Kingston KVR133x64C3/128 in slot#0.
AZENRAM is double sided,8 chips either side, connectors on both sides having following part# on
it's chip:
0364804PT3C
10 29L6083
IBM BR52
945402770 Q
But this did'nt show any increase in memory.
PLease tell step by step procedure for memtest installation.

I have compared system info of 3 systems, I have 47 hotfix installed on my systems , while other 2 systems have only 1 hotfix installed.
I want to know what is Hotfix and what will be the impact on system's performance.
