need help deciding on memory

hi my specs are
amd64 3000(1.8) winchester
gygabyte nforce 4 mb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813128268
and 512 cosiar xsm ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16820145420

my question is i want to upgrade to 1gig but i realized i not gooan do no overcloacking so this memory is overkill for me. i was thinking can i put this cosair vaule http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145526 in dual channel and then add the one above to make my ram total 1.5 g?

if you have 3 sticks it wont be dual channel

Corsair XMS is cheap ram, I would just get another stick of it

hmm i though u can have 2 dual ram and 1 not dual ram k then thxs man

They have to be in matched pairs (2x 512 etc). 2 will run in dc and 3 will run in sc. add another 512 like Chirs just suggested above and run 2 gig in dc. Memory is cheap for now so go for it!
