I think i was lucky, ive had a look inside and there is absolutely no damage at all, but it was really dusty, i ran my finger across the inside of the case and it was filthy, so i suppose i need to go and find something to hoover up the inside of my pc, which also is maybe why it runs so hot (see other post)
yup! Most likely it was power supply since you notice dust fly out and thatÂ’s possibly were the fan from the power supply would be.
Get some dust remover is nothing but a can with compressed air. And spray the board supply. Keyboard etc. do not get chemical electronic cleaner since some of these might contain an oily residue for component lubricant. I had a giant amp power supply 4000 volts explode on me a few years ago because dust on the caps.
