refresh rate makes no difference on an lcd.

There is a clarity difference on mine. 75hz is much sharper than 60hz.

Refresh rates on LCD should be set to 60.

CRT refresh rates should be set just high enough to get rid of flicker (as low as possible without flicker).

This is according to the powers that be in Computer Shopper, CPU, and PC World.

An LCD doesn't flicker like a CRT was the explanation for that one.

There was no real explanation on the CRT refresh, other than it was basically doing nothing helpful.
