OK I have 385 USD and I need to buy Ram,PSU,HD,Optical Drives. I'm looking into maybe a 40 gig harddrive , cd/dvd reader, cd/dvd burner. this is going into a AMD 3200+ Venice Core on a DFI lanparty Ultra-d Mobo with a x300 se Hypermemory VGA (looking into upgrading Video Card) So please help me with my choices.

40GB seems a bit small for a HD. get at least 150ish

see but I really don't need that much as right now I only used 10 gigs on an 80 gig harddrive I was thinking about an 80 gig instead.

If you only use 10 gigs on an 80 gig hard drive, then you obviously don't need a new hard drive. If you want a DVD burner then I reccomend an NEC 3540.

However, if you need to buy a PSU then that should be your main concern.

no see I'm currently selling my pc in sig. and building another one with a 3200+ venice and a dfi lanparty but need help on the rest of the parts but no vid card cause I already have one and no case because I have one.

You can get all that for 220-230 if your careful and conserve.

Hard drive- Best buy has a 120 gig for 40 bucks right now!
Burner- NEc 3540 all the way, only 48 on newegg.
ram-Corsair value select, or some other value ram-80
Power supply- ePOWER ATX 450W Power Supply-66 dollars
